The story
Shahzad came from England. Before surgery, she described herself as 'very nervous' — the kind of nervous that holds people back from booking the flight at all. What changed her mind, and what she keeps coming back to in her interview, was the relationship with her coordinator. 'Right from the beginning of this experience, the coordinator has been fantastic. She replied to my questions — I had many questions — and she replied to my questions straight away.'
On the day of surgery, she remembers the team as 'very calm.' Every step was explained. 'Even though I was very nervous, everyone was very calm and they explained every step.'
Less than 24 hours after the procedure, the doctor reviewed her: 98-99% vision. Her closing line, recorded the same day, became one of the most quoted lines from this set of testimonials: 'If you're considering doing it — don't even think twice.'
