Born in İzmir in 1990, Dr. Sadık completed his medical degree at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine and his ophthalmology residency at Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Medicine — one of the oldest and most rigorous ophthalmology departments in Türkiye. His residency included a structured sub-specialty rotation in vitreoretinal surgery.
Following residency, Dr. Sadık practised at Sultan Abdülmecit Training & Research Hospital and at Gaziosmanpaşa Yeni Yüzyıl University Hospital, where his caseload combined adult vitreoretinal surgery with pediatric ROP screening — a multi-disciplinary role that requires close coordination with neonatology teams.
He has practised at the accredited partner hospital network in Istanbul since 2022. Alongside his vitreoretinal practice, he maintains an active cataract, refractive and glaucoma surgical caseload, which allows him to handle combined anterior- and posterior-segment cases that come up in international patient referral.
