Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Eyeglow Health uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, the cookies we use, and how you can manage your preferences.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember preferences, and gather analytics about how a site is used. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels and SDKs.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Essential (always active)
Required for the website to function: session management, form submission protection (Cloudflare Turnstile bot protection), language preference persistence, security measures. These cannot be disabled and do not require consent under KVKK or GDPR (Recital 32).
Analytics (opt-in)
Help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve content and structure. We use Google Analytics 4, configured with Google Consent Mode v2: no analytics cookie is set and no request is sent to Google unless you explicitly accept. IP addresses are anonymised and advertising signals are switched off, so your activity is not used to build an advertising profile. If you decline, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics stays off entirely.
Preference (opt-in)
Remember your language selection and reading preferences between visits so you don't have to re-select each time. Activated only if you opt in.
Marketing (not currently used)
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If we add them in the future, we will update this policy and require fresh consent before activating them.
3. Third-party cookies
The following third parties may set cookies when their content is loaded on our site:
- Cloudflare — for bot protection (Turnstile) and CDN delivery (security/essential);
- Google Maps — when an embedded map is displayed on the Contact page (preference);
- YouTube — if a YouTube video is embedded on a content page (preference).
We do not control third-party cookies; please consult their privacy policies for full details.
4. How to manage cookies
You have several ways to manage cookies:
- Cookie consent banner — on your first visit, we ask you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time via the consent banner shortcut at the bottom of any page;
- Browser settings — most browsers allow you to control or block cookies via their settings menu. Note that blocking essential cookies may break some site features (form submission, language switching);
- Device-level controls — both iOS and Android offer device-wide tracking-prevention settings.
5. Do Not Track signals
Our website respects the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where supported by your browser. When GPC is enabled, non-essential cookies remain inactive even if you have not explicitly opted out.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time when cookies on our site change or when new third-party services are integrated. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
